Praise the Lord! We thank the Lord for blessing us and bringing us into a new year. We have so much for which to be thankful. January was filled with regular activities and fellowship with other churches and February was highlighted by the commemoration of Black History Month.

Our church celebrated the 14th year of Kingdom Service for our Pastor Gary W. Young. Our celebration services began with a Pre-Anniversary Service on Sunday, February 18, 2018 during our 10:45 service. Pastor Leo Barbee, Jr. was our speaker. The Anniversary Celebration  continued Sunday, February 25, 2018, Rev. Dr. Jeremiah Tillman, First Baptist Church, Petersburg, VA was our appreciation speaker. A fellowship followed the worship service.

Palm Sunday will be celebrated on the Fourth Sunday in March. Special dramatic readings and music will highlight the morning worship service. Join us the following week for our Celebration of the Risen Savior, Easter Sunday, April 1st. Sunrise Services begin at 6:00 am. At 9:15 am, the Children's Easter Program begins followed by our 10:45 am Resurrection Celebration. Invite your family, friends and neighbors.

Women, please make plans to join us for our 2018 Women's Day Celebrations! Our celebration events for the weekend begin with the Women's Prayer Breakfast, Saturday, April 28th, 9 am - 1 pm, at the Doubletree by Hilton Hotel. Our celebration features our speaker and facilitator, Rev. Dr. Carolyn Gordon. The cost for early registration is $25 per attendee if paid before April 10th. After April 10th, the cost will be $30.
